Mihoko's Parents Live in Riverside California. There isn't a big river here so I have always wondered why they called this Riverside. Well after the heavy rains this week I learned perhaps one reason why. When it rains hard the place fills with water very fast. Yet it seems that maybe Lakeside would have been a more appropriate name as the water didn't move downstream well but just sat there. We didn't have to row our boat but we did have to drive very carefully navigating the hubcap deep water in many places. It was an adventure the kids will remember.
