CC Worship Conference #5

Calvary Chapel Ginowan is an absolute inspiration. God has blessed the gang at CC Ginowan with a tremendous facility as well. This is where the Calvary Chapel Bible College is held. They have other places where the kids bunk at but here is the feasting on the word and so much outreach happens. I am so blown away. They have a lot of the comforts of home and blessings for the body and anyone who comes in to the Koninoniya Cafe. The best comfort of home is the college kids there with huge hearts to serve Jesus. They express the love within them through serving others. This serving is not a compulsory regulation but I have seen it is the JOY of there heart overflowing with the Spirit that just gives me a sweet taste of heaven. They have concerts here and just so much ministry is going on in the community. The building was a tremendous blessing of God. It has 3 floors but also the have converted the roof into a place of fellowship and hanging out. You can see for miles from the roof and you can see the coast as well.

Pray for Pastor Tommy Ruiz and his lovely bride Joanna as they have 4 of their own kids to care for but also they treat all the students as one big extended family. Even on Tommy's spare time he is taking care of the students. I have truly witnessed love that is deeper on a spiritual level. I ask him it must be hard, right? And he is quick to correct my flesh based thinking saying that it isn't hard it is a blessing and fun and he just loves right where he is at and what God is doing. This family radiates the Love of Jesus and I told you Pastor Rick had the second biggest smile on the Island the First being Pastor Tommy. Hey also pray for Pastor Tim and Ayu Newell as they are new parents and are having a blast. Tim works and is part of a band named "Hakugaijin" it is a play on Japanese words that I'll explain later. The band does rap style of worship and really is getting popular. They have released a new CD called "AiLand" Ai being the Japanese word for love. They are on the Island sharing God's love. It is great music and I will try to upload some of there stuff as I figure out how to do it. Pray for the CCBC Okinawa and CC Ginowan here and all the students and the pastors loving on the kids.
