Sapporo Help Arrives

What a great week as Steve and Michiyo Lorincz (Victoria too) came down from Sapporo Hokkaido. It is such a blur as so much was accomplished. I was stalled on a few projects and they were dynamic in pushing us over the top. We were able to glue down one room of carpet after much scrapping of old linoleum flooring and then we installed our sound stuff. God really blessed us in many ways.

It was Awesome to get to know the Lorincz family but there is more to them than meets the ear. They are professional musicians and are extremely talented. Michiyo is an Opera Singer in Hungary where Steve and Michiyo come from and Steve is a Jazz pianist. He played 15 years in Hotels and on Cruise ships. The Lord led Steve to start church services on the cruise ships and 4 of the churches are still in operation. Praise God. We got a bargain deal on a Yamaha Clavinova Piano that was overpriced and talked the manager down (Learned that from Tommy in Okinawa). Steve was trying it out in the church and his wife came in and began to sing. We all thought someone had put in a CD. Her voice was so powerful and beautiful. Mario and Sachiko said we have to have a concert. So we had an impromptu concert the next night and God blessed as the Lorincz family rocked the house.

Pray for these wonderful people as they are working on planting a Calvary Chapel in Sapporo. May God richly bless them and use them for His glory.
