Fig is an acrostic for Faith in God from Mark 11:22. We as missionaries living in Japan enjoy our FIG in Japanese or In Nihon Go (ING). Here we are figing away in a beautiful country Japan. This started out as a place for family to get updates and pictures but now this goes all over the world. Praise God. May you be blessed as you read my posts. Some funny, some sad, & some really stupid and embarrassing for my family.

Before and After shots Whew
God loves to clean up our lives. He wants to come in to our hearts where there are weeds and vines and thorns and he removes those barriers so that our heart is revealed and then he fills us with his presence. Pastor Chuck Smith loved to restore Cars that are old and ready for the dump heap and then with patient love he replaces the worn parts and repairs others till soon there is a work of beauty for all to appreciate. You can see all the work that goes into restoring those old cars. God does a tremendous amount of work to restore us to a right relationship with our Father in Heaven. When we are complete all will appreciate not the object as much as the person behind the object who worked so hard to bring that restoration. God is at work in our hearts so if we feel a little run down and in need of repair then we need to park in God's garage and be patient to wait for him to work through us being diagnosed with the Word of God the Bible. His diagnostic analysis is seen in Revelation 2 and 3 as He says, "I know your works." The Psalmist says in another place that God knows our frame and our most personal life. (PS139). God bess you all as you allow him to test and prove your heart. He is at work and will be faithful to complete it.
