It has been 20 plus years since Mihoko left her home in Nishi Tokorozawa. Originally Mihoko came from Tokyo where she lived until she was 14 then she moved to Nishi Tokorozawa. It was there that God surrounded her with Christian friends and she began to read the Bible. She yielded her heart to Jesus there and it has a special place in her heart. Then on to California for school. She happened to get sidetracked with a great guy in the US and married him. So we toured the old stomping ground and found the landscape drastically changed. The tea fields are all gone and the buildings are everywhere. We had fun and ended our day trip at the Mami mart with some noodles.
