Fig is an acrostic for Faith in God from Mark 11:22. We as missionaries living in Japan enjoy our FIG in Japanese or In Nihon Go (ING). Here we are figing away in a beautiful country Japan. This started out as a place for family to get updates and pictures but now this goes all over the world. Praise God. May you be blessed as you read my posts. Some funny, some sad, & some really stupid and embarrassing for my family.

Apricot Pineapple Preserves
Things I am missing. One of those is items is the good ole Smuckers Apricot Pineapple Jam. I can't buy it in a local store here. They have a Strawberry jam that is double the price of a US bottle. It is good but expensive. Cheese is another thing. They don't sell American yellow cheese. At the VBS Mihoko made us Ham and Cheese sandwiches. The stores don't sell regular ham but a type of Canadian Bacon and the cheese is a white tasteless provolone. The sandwich was good but not the same flavor.
Pray for us as we are almost ready to begin a Bible study and ESL classes
