Well Monday was Jane's first day on the bus to go to school. We were so proud of her. You could hear the bus coming from down the street with all the screaming kids on board. Jane was a little apprehensive as they were all crying. I told her you should be like Jesus and comfort those kids missing their mommies. She got on the bus and sat next to a little girl and started to pat her on the back. She loves school so much. 
The school takes kids as young as 3 and they attend all the way to 6. So for many of these kids who have never been to church or school this was their induction to separation from mommy. The kids would just cry and cry but as the days go on they get used to it. Jane has made so many new friends she says. Even the older kids were talking to her saying "Haro" in English. She is over it and wants to be one of the normal kids. Pray she has fun and learns a lot of Japanese and makes good friends.
